An Army site based near Aisne in France needed to increase safety at a training area during their drills. The goal was to ensure the safety of soldiers who use the walkways during training. Wooden walkways become very slippery in wet and frosty weather, so we were tasked with finding a safe and effective non-slip coating to secure this space.
Grip Master is one of our non-slip coatings. It was deemed the most effective for the project as it provides a tough anti slip finish that can be applied to a wooden surface.
After cleaning each wooden slat, Watco Grip-Master anti slip coating was applied. This secures surfaces with a non slip finish that is ideal for pedestrian areas. Its formulation contains a highly resistant epoxy resin that ensures high durability.
The coating was applied to an area of 300m² over the course of six days. After completion, the foreman told us that 'the coating is very simple to apply' and confirmed that 'the army was very satisfied about the security of its site.'
