with Fastcoat
Uniquely developed by Watco's paint chemists, Watco Fastcoat is a new type of resin polyaspartic formulation that allows you to have your floor cleaned, prepared and painted within a single day. Watco Fastcoat can be used inside or out, is exceptionally strong with excellent scratch and abrasion resistance. For areas that need safety underfoot, Fastcoat Anti Slip provides all the same features as the original formulation with the additional benefit of providing safety underfoot.

Thoroughly clean the surface to ensure it is free from dust or dirt.

If the concrete is new or bare, remove surface laitance, dust and any light dirt or grease deposits using Watco Etch & Clean. If the surface has heavy deposits of grease or oil, use Watco Concroff or for painted surfaces, Watco Bio-D.

Remove the two inner tins from the tall outer tin. Individually stir the contents of each tin using a Watco Mixing Blade or similar. Scrape around the inside of the tins to remove any residue.

Pour the mixed components into the larger outer tin and stir thoroughly until uniform in colour and consistency. You can then pour the formulation into a plastic scuttle ready for immediate application.

Use a Paint Brush for cutting in around the edges and corners.

Apply the coating with a short pile roller (not medium pile or foam) and work well into the surface. Avoid applying the paint too thickly as this will result in reduced coverage.

If applying Fastcoat Anti-Slip, immediately sprinkle the anti slip aggregate evenly onto the wet coating.

Once the aggregate is sprinkled on, using the same roller, roll back over the sprinkled aggregate to bed it in and create an even finish.
