The Watco Bitu-Mend Application Kit provides you with everything you need for an easy application of Watco Bitu-Mend Pothole Repair.

By using our kit, you’re not only saving money, but you’ll also have everything you need to ensure your pothole repair is durable and long lasting.

The Watco Bitu-Mend® Application Kit includes:

2” Paint brush – for evenly spreading the primer into the desired area
Hand Shovel – for shovelling out sufficient material into the hole
Tamper – for compacting Bitu-Mend into the hole, ensuring it’s a dense, hard surface and ready for pedestrian and vehicle traffic
Wallet and gloves – to protect your hands and avoid any mess

Application

Surface preparation

Ensure a clean surface free of all loose material and surface water, oil etc for effective pothole repair.

Application

If appearance is critical we recommend the application of a small trial area first.

Pour the primer onto the prepared surface and spread using a brush. Tip or shovel out sufficient material into the hole to slightly overfill it and then compact with the back of a shovel or tamper. In exceptional temperature conditions advice should be obtained from Watco’s Technical Department.
