A virtually indestructible, anti slip GRP work platform
Help keep operatives safe with this indestructibly tough, anti slip, chemical resistant work platform. The 25mm open grid allows oil and water to drain freely and the adjustable feet prevent rocking on uneven surfaces. Use on wet production lines, by sinks, in wash bays or around wet oily machinery.

When installing Watco Firm-Step® Duckboard panels, standard personal protective equipment should be worn as a minimum. These include a dust mask, safety goggles, heavy duty gloves and overalls. The Watco Firm-Step® Duckboard panels should be cut in a well ventilated area or close to extraction points. Ideally, cutting tools will be fitted with a vacuum system to reduce dust levels. Dust residue can be disposed of using normal waste disposal methods.
Ensure that the areas that are to have Watco Firm-Step® Duckboard fitted are clean and dry and free from loose and friable material.
Dry fit all Watco Firm-Step® Duckboard panels to ensure that they fit freely and that they sit flat down on the surface. If required, Watco Firm-Step® Duckboard panels can be trimmed on site to suit using an industrial jigsaw and appropriate cutting blades. If you need to cut the GRP product, a good quality abrasive disc, jigsaw or hacksaw can be used. The GRP material is quite tough to cut by hand, so if power tools are not readily available, please ask about our cut to size service.
If appearance is critical we recommend the application of a small trial area first.
For stability, the 996mm x 996mm size is supplied with 9 feet and the 1985mm x 996mm is supplied with 15 feet.
The feet which are supplied with the product, should simply be pushed into the duckboard.
