with Chemi-Coat
Watco Chemi-Coat is a one coat, glossy, high build epoxy resin coating designed to provide exceptional protection against chemical spillages. Suitable for a variety of floor surfaces, this coating has been rigorously tested to produce a first class finish that is resistant to wear and tear by heavy machinery or vehicles, in addition to it's exceptional resistance to the most common industrial chemicals, including 98% sulphuric acid and Skydrol. Curing time is approximately 16 hours at 20°C. Available in Anti Slip, Rapid, Cold Cure and Acid Strength formulations.

Ensure that the substrate is free from dust and dirt.

If the concrete is new or bare, remove surface laitance, dust and any light dirt or grease deposits using Watco Etch & Clean.

Remove the two inner tins from the tall outer tin. Individually stir the contents of the resin and curing agent thoroughly until even in colour and consistency, using a Watco Mixing Blade. Scrape around the inside of the tins to remove any residue.

Once mixed, a chemical reaction takes place, raising the temperature and speeding up the curing process. Once mixed, pour into a plastic scuttle and use immediately.

Use a Paint Brush for cutting in around the corners or edges.

Apply a single coat using a medium pile (not foam) roller. Best results are obtained in warm conditions (minimum 15°C).
Chemi-Coat can also be applied vertically with two thin coats.
