For repairing floors subject to vibration, movement or impact. Virtually indestructible
Watco Concrex® Flex has been specially developed with a new blend of resins, to enable expansion joints, ramps, guide rail surrounds and any other areas commonly subject to vibration and movement to be repaired. Areas like these may have been badly affected by cracking and spalling in the past, but Watco Concrex® Flex will provide a permanent repair where a rigid mortar might fail. Watco Concrex Flex also has excellent chemical resistance and cures quickly allowing the floor to be put back into use.

Cleaning tools | Equipment used for mixing and applying should be wiped clean with white spirit or a similar solvent before the Concrex Flex cures |
Surfaces should be clean, dry and free of all loose material. Wire brushing or sweeping is generally sufficient. Watco Bio-D degreaser can be used to remove grease and oil. If the surface is damp it can be primed with Watco Tack Coat.
Each Watco Concrex Flex® pack contains a granular resinous compound and separate containers of curing agent. The components are mixed by trowel according to the simple Instructions in the pack until a smooth grey mortar is obtained. The more thorough the mixing, the ‘wetter’, smoother and more manageable the mix becomes. This can be achieved quite quickly by wearing disposable gloves and kneading the mixture by hand. A 'Creteangle' or similar mixer can be used to ensure thorough mixing of larger quantities.
Watco Concrex Flex® is trowelled firmly against the surface to be repaired, and finished with a trowel or float. To prevent drag on the trowel, a rag moistened with white spirit may be wiped across the face of the tool.
Concrex Flex is far stronger than concrete. The table shows a comparison (typical figures)
Tensile Strength | Compressive Strength | |
Watco Concrex®Flex | 3.5 MN/m2 | 58.9 MN/m2 |
Concrete | 3.4 MN/m2 | 21.41 MN/m2 |
